How long will my delivery take?

95% of our orders are despatched the day after they are ordered. What's behind this promise?

• The product needs to be in stock. This can be seen on the product detail page. If the availability states "usually despatched within 24 hours" this means the product is in stock. GetLenses prides itself on keeping the highest stock levels in the industry to ensure speed of despatch.
• If the lens states "usually despatched within 3-5 days", this means we have to order it from the manufacturer. We will do so once prescription verification is complete.
• If the product does not require prescription validation (e.g. contact lens solutions), it will be picked immediately.
• If the lens prescription does need checking this will add to the time, but our award winning call centre have an excellent record for completing this process as quickly as possible. If however your optician is unavailable, this gives us a problem.

Assuming all processes are complete, collections are made daily at 17:00. The cut-off time to ensure same day despatch is 12:00.

All mail deliveries will follow normal postal standards (1-4 days).

As you can see, there are a number of variables which affect delivery time. Clearly all delivery times only include working days. But you will see, given the information above that we are rightly proud of our record in achieving such high despatch rates within 24 hours.

In any event you will receive a second email, advising you your package has shipped.

How much does delivery cost?

• All deliveries with order values above €30 are FREE.
• For orders under €30 in value, a small charge of €2.95 will be made.

Notes: All orders must weight less than 2kg or they will not be accepted by the postal service

How is my product shipped?

All orders will travel by post.

Track and Trace

There is no track and trace capability with the postal service.

Will my package fit through my letterbox?

• Most contact lenses and small eye care products are posted in letterbox friendly jiffy bags.
• Larger products (particularly bulk lens solutions) and all boxes will not fit your letterbox.It may may be more convenient having your products delivered to your work address, if you are in doubt.
